How to Ride the Bus

The Tokyo Shitamachi Bus operates on two tourist routes, Ueno Matsuzakaya - Kinshicho Station, and Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit - - Kinshicho Station (Saturdays,Sundays and holidays only).
Buses run about 20 minute intervals between Ueno Matsuzakaya and Kinshicho Station.

Fares	Adult (12 yrs or older) 210 yen (IC 206 yen) Child (6 - 11 yrs) 110 yen (IC 103 yen)	Please pay the fare as you board the bus. Newborns and up to two infants (1 - 5 yrs) may ride free of charge when accompanied by an adult or child. The child fare is required for the third infant and onwards, and for infants riding unaccompanied.
Toei Bus One-Day Pass	Adult 500 yen Child 250 yen	This pass allows unlimited use of the Toei buses throughout 23 special wards in ToKyo for one day. We also offer a service for using a PASMO or Suica card as a Toei Bus One-Day IC Card Pass. Sold on Toei Buses. * Advance tickets are also available at Toei bus offices/branch offices, locations selling Toei bus passes, and JTB branch offices.

How to take the Toei Bus

1. Wait for your bus at the bus stop

This is a bus-stop sign. Please wait in line at the bus stop.

2. Check your destination

Check the destination which is displayed at the front, rear and on the side of the bus.

3. Board the bus through the front door

Please watch your step as you board the bus.

4. Pay the fare

The fare is 210 yen (IC 206 yen) per ride.

Insert coins in A. Insert a 1000 yen bill in B.
If you have a PASMO or Suica card, touch it against C.
If you require a Toei Bus One-Day Pass, please purchase it from the driver.

Note: Only coins or a 1,000 yen bill can be used on the bus.

5. Press the disembark button

When your stop is announced, press the disembark button on the nearest window or pillar.

6. Leave the bus through the rear door

Please watch your step as you disembark.
