Statue of Kappa Kawataro
かっぱの河太郎像

This statue was erected to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Kappabashi Kitchenware Town, which is a street that extends for up to 800 meters and features around 170 shops offering all manner of kitchen utensils, dinnerware and wax food samples. The bronze statue, which stands at a height of 1.5 meters, shines dazzlingly when it is hit by the sun. This is a great place to visit during the Kappabashi Kitchenware Town Festival, held in October.
