This restaurant is owned by Michinoku oyakata, a sumo stable master. Kirishima was the name he used when he was an ozeki wrestler. The soup made from good chicken stock and flavored with white miso makes a wonderful base for the selection of fresh meat, fish and vegetables that are simmered in the stew.
