How Fares Are Calculated
- The regular is calculated according to the minimum distance between the stations you ride, regardless of the actual route you take ( if the distance between two stations has a fraction of a full kilometer, it is rounded up to the next kilometer).
- The fare for children is half of the adult fare. If one-half the adult fare has less than a full ten-yen unit, it is rounded up to the next ten-yen unit.
Example: If the adult fare is ¥160, the fare for children is ¥80.
