How to Ride the Nippori-Toneri Liner

Regular Fares

How Fares Are Calculated

  • The regular is calculated according to the minimum distance between the stations you ride, regardless of the actual route you take ( if the distance between two stations has a fraction of a full kilometer, it is rounded up to the next kilometer).
  • The fare for children is half of the adult fare. If one-half the adult fare has less than a full ten-yen unit, it is rounded up to the next ten-yen unit.
Example: If the adult fare is ¥160, the fare for children is ¥80.

Fares for Adults and Children

* Up to two pre-schoolers may ride free of charge if accompanied by a pay ing adult or child passenger. (The third and subsequent pre-schoolers must pay the child fare.)
