From Monday, March 9, 2026, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will be expanding its Children's Smile Spot™ baby care facility to Daimon Station.
TMG has been developing Children's Smile Spot™ facilities to support outings with babies and young children at Ueno-Okachimachi, Shinjuku Nishiguchi, and Monzen-Nakacho Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
The Children's Smile Spot™ at Daimon Station will offer vending machines selling baby care products such as liquid infant formula and disposable diapers, as well as a stroller rental service, making it easier for travelers with small children to move around the city.
Through these initiatives, TMG aims to create an environment in which families with young children can more easily use public transportation, while also fostering a society that supports child-rearing as a whole.

The Bureau of Transportation commented:
While introducing Children's Smile Spot™ in the Toei Subway may be a small step,
we hope that efforts to support families with young children when they are out will expand beyond stations to society as a whole.
