Response to River Swells

The Shiromaru Dam may release water from its gate when water rises rapidly due to heavy rain, etc. In that case, an alert is given by a siren or speaker, or attention is drawn by patrol activities, as required.
In addition, water management considering the safety of the river is implemented, such as by adjusting the amount of water release so as not to allow the river flow to rapidly increase on the down-river side of the dam.
