Shiromaru Fish Ladder

The difference in height between the up-river Shiromaru Reservoir and the down-river side is 27 m.
The fishway guides fish to go up to the dam's up-river side through the hairpin-turn open waterway and the tunnel inside the bedrock located on the left bank of the dam's site.
The fishway, creeping along a length of 330 m in total, has midway pools to take a break.
