Watch goldfish and multicolored carp swirl in tanks at Edo hanamachi

Some 8,000 colorful fish are on display, including goldfish known as swimming jewels and nishikigoi carp. Enjoy the new exhibits of carp dancing in a spherical tank, and goldfish tanks embedded in the ceiling. Drinks are served in the venue after 7:00 pm, during Night Aquarium time.

A new spot for children to have fun in the water

The water recreation square for children features four attractions, including a new Zaboon Double Slide and last year's popular Awa-awa Whip, inviting even kids too young for a swimming pool to play.

TOSHIMAEN Night pool

For recreation on summer nights in a resort atmosphere

The Night Pool ideal for swimming without the worry of harmful UV rays comes complete with resort-style paid poolside seating and an exclusive nighttime menu of cocktails and food. A firework display starts at 8:00 pm.

Toneri-koen Jabu-jabu Pond

A water recreational spot to enjoy for free

Jabu-jabu Pond is a favorite summer vacation attraction of Toneri Park, also home to multiple squares and a lake. Third graders and younger children not wearing a diaper are invited to play in the water. Complete with a small water slide, the pond is so packed with fun features that it's hard to believe it's free.

Canoe/Kayak Course

Kayaking: fun and easy for anyone!

The canoe and kayak course under Metropolitan Expressway Route No. 7 welcomes anyone over elementary school age. No reservations are required, and instructors are on site to offer lessons. Kayaks, helmets, life jackets, and paddles are available for rental.

Otonashishinsui park

"Together with the water," strolling restored clear streams

Selected one of the Best 100 Urban Parks of Japan, the park restores the channels of the Shakujii River, aka the Otonashigawa River, lost during the postwar economic boom. Visitors may play in safe filtered water in an area surrounded by trees, complete with a replicated water wheel and wooden bridge.
