Fun summer holidays for children and parents to play together

MIDTOWN LOVES SUMMER 2019

Cool summer break in the center of the city

This event cools the five senses under the theme "Cool Japanese Summer." Relaxing around a grassed square, you can experience the evening cool while viewing digital artwork in the featuring fireworks and sand pattern images. For the first time ever, the event includes ASHIMIZU - a stream where you can sit and refresh your feet in the water, reminiscent of Kyoto's raised riverbank platforms where people go to escape the summer heat - as well as a sanctuary with tatami mat motifs. A popular stamp rally is also being held.
