A cherry tree which has been passed down from generation to generation

Toneri Park

A place where you can enjoy deeply breathing in the fresh air, this spacious park is clothed in the colors of spring as plants bud and blossom. The “Reagan Cherry Tree,” gifted to Toneri Park by former First Lady of the United States Nancy Reagan, came from the famous Arakawa Zutsumi Goshiki Zakura that was gifted to Washington during the Meiji Period. This cherry tree will hopefully continue to brighten springtime forevermore.
