Throughout the park’s expansive grounds, you can see not only cherry blossoms but also azaleas, dogwood blossoms, and many other flowers. View the blossoms as you stroll around the park or sit on a bench and soak up the floral scenery—enjoy the spring season however you like.

Around the park you can see a variety of flowers, including cherry and dogwood blossoms, and now is the best time to see the rhododendrons and azaleas blooming on Mt. Fuji, the park’s largest artificial hill. Rest areas where you can enjoy traditional Japanese sweets and green tea while savoring the scenery are also set up for a limited time during the spring season.

With around 1,000 cherry trees and vast Nemophila flower beds, this park is a spot where you can enjoy colorful spring scenery. The Fureai Festival is scheduled to be held in early May. Enjoy the feeling of spring surrounded by abundant nature.

Created by the 8th Tokugawa Shogun, Yoshimune, this park is a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing and has even been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites. In addition to the avenue of blooming cherry trees lining both sides of the Sumidagawa River, you can also enjoy views of Tokyo Skytree.

In days gone by, the Shinkawa River flourished as a Salt Road; today, it is famous for its Yoshino and weeping cherry trees in full bloom. Illumination displays, cherry blossom viewing boat cruises, and various other events are held at the Shinkawa Sakura Hall to coincide with the cherry blossoms blooming.

Covered in Yoshino cherry trees, the Kandagawa River becomes a tunnel of cherry blossoms when the trees are in bloom. With cherry blossom petals floating on the water surface and illumination displays set up for a limited time during the spring season, this is a spot where you can savor experiencing the spring atmosphere.
