Below you will find information on all of the available ticket options for Toei Transportation. Certain tickets are for a single service, whilst others allow the user to use a number of combined services which ensure everyone can choose the best option for their journey.

You can make unlimited use for one day of the Toei Subway, Toei Bus (including Tama area), Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line), and Nippori-Toneri Liner.

One day: advance tickets are valid for one day only within six months of the day of sale; same-day tickets are valid for one day only from the day of sale.

Toei 1Day Pass

Advance tickets

Advance tickets are sold at the ticket counters of Toei Subway stations (with some exceptions), Toei Bus Sales Offices/Branches, Arakawa Streetcar Office, Minowabashi Omoidekan, and Commuter Pass Offices (with some exceptions) of Toei Subway, Toei Bus, Toden and Nippori-Toneri Liner.

Note: When using advance tickets on Toei Bus and Toden, you must insert your ticket into the fare adjustment machine before first boarding to date stamp your ticket. After your first boarding, please show the date-stamped side of your ticket to drivers as required.

Same-day tickets

Same-day tickets are available from the automatic ticket vending machines of Toei Subway, Toei Bus, Toden, and Nippori-Toneri Liner. Same-day tickets are also handled by the vending locations that sell advance tickets. Tickets are available for purchase on Toei Buses from 4 am onwards.

Refunds

Refunds are available only for unused tickets within the validity period. A refund equal to the purchase amount minus a service charge of ¥220 will be paid. Please note that same-day tickets cannot be refunded after purchase.

Benefits

You can receive benefits including discounts & gifts when you show your Toei 1Day Pass at shops and various locations along the lines ONLY on the day of use.

Please note that when using the late night bus services you are required to pay the difference between the fare for those services and regular fares: adult ¥210 (IC ¥210), child ¥100 (IC ¥105). Furthermore, between midnight and 4 am, the preceding day's ticket remains valid for travel.

Unlimited access to the Toei Subway and the Tokyo Metro is available for durations ranging from 24 to 72 hours.

Tokyo Subway Ticket

Where to purchase
Toei Subway

The Tourist Information Centers are located at Shimbashi Station, Shinjuku-Nishiguchi Station, and Ueno-Okachimachi Station, as well as at "Minowabashi Omoidekan."
The option to purchase Tokyo Subway tickets with a PASMO card is available solely at the Tourist Information Center. Mobile PASMO is currently not supported.

Tickets can be purchased at Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, tourist information centers, and electronics retail stores. Please confirm with each sales location to determine the types of tickets that are currently available.
