Twenty five attractions in five zones

Tokyo Dome City Attractions

Admission to this inner-city amusement park is free of charge. Here you can enjoy 25 regular attractions, including a rollercoaster that weaves between buildings and panoramic views of Tokyo’s cityscape from a huge centerless Ferris wheel rising 80 m above the ground. Approximately one-half of these attractions can also be used on rainy days.

3-min. walk from Kasuga Station on the Toei Oedo Line and the Toei Mita Line

I want to relax in an “oasis in the sky.”

Sunshine Aquarium

Sitting atop a high-rise building, this aquarium was created based on the concept of “an oasis in the sky.” Featuring a variety of ingenious innovations, the tanks allow closeup views of the adorable antics of penguins and sea lions, as well as the sight of stingrays and zebra sharks swimming gracefully.

Sparking the mini-theater boom

Cine Switch Ginza

Featuring two screens, this movie theater employs an all-seats-reserved system. Selecting high-quality films appropriate for its Ginza location, the theater is also known for having sparked the mini-theater boom. The theater also provides Ladies’ Day and other services.

An aromatic planetarium for adults

Konica Minolta Planetarium Tenku

Designed for adults, this planetarium features stereophonic sound that faithfully reproduces the sounds of nature and the scent of original aromas. Seating arranged along rows of steps allow visitors to fully enjoy the sense of being there as images appear to jump out from the screen in front.

Experience art and hone your sensibilities

ASAKURA Museum of Sculpture

The art museum building is the former studio and home of sculptor Fumio Asakura, who was active from the Meiji period to the Showa period. The building features a stunning fusion of two different architectural structures in reinforced concrete and wood. The entire property was designated a National Place of Scenic Beauty in 2008.

Beautifully blooming hydrangea flowers

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

In these gardens, you can enjoy the different scenes of nature in each season, and during the rainy season, the droplets of rain further enhance the beauty of the Hydrangea flowers. Looking at the tropical and subtropical plants growing in greenhouses, you could forget that you are in the center of Tokyo.
