Unaffected by the weather, the Sumida Aquarium is characterized by displays that allow you to sense creatures breathing. The many sofas located around the aquarium let visitors view the displays unhurriedly. Every day after 17:00 until August 31, the aquarium holds a special jellyfish-viewing event called Sumida Kurage Fireworks.

With the natural waters of the Shinnaka River flowing through it, this water park abounds with nature, providing a home for fish, insects, and aquatic plants. In addition to the Splashing Pool, a popular spot with children, you can also enjoy seasonal displays at the Ichinoe Makkotei, the former residence of the Makkoya Tazawa family, an old family of Higashi Ichinoe Village, which is adjacent to the park.
