This event is held once a year in a shopping district known for its specialty stores selling cooking equipment, tableware, and other food-related kitchenware. This year marks its 40th edition. People come not only from across Japan, but also from overseas, all looking for kitchenware they can’t find anywhere else.

One of the world’s largest used book districts, Kanda Jimbocho, will once again be packed with people and books for this major annual event. Throughout the festival, a variety of events take place, drawing not only used book lovers but also many tourists.

This lush garden in the heart of the city, perfectly blending with the Art Deco-style building, is made up of three areas: a lawn garden, a Japanese garden, and a Western-style garden. Here you can enjoy the changing beauty of the seasons, from cherry blossoms to autumn leaves.

One of the largest parks in Tokyo, its highlight is a row of over 200 Metasequoia trees that start turning autumn colors around mid-November. You can also enjoy the vibrant colors of Kochia, dahlias, chrysanthemums, and other flowers in full bloom.
