Train operation will resume after safety is confirmed.
  • The facilities of subway stations are built using non-flammable or flame-resistant materials conforming to national standards.
In addition, in case of the occurrence of fire, stations are equipped with automatic fire alarms, water sprinklers, emergency electric generators and emergency exit signs made of luminescent materials.
  • Subway trains are made of non-flammable or flame-resistant materials conforming to national standards.
Should a fire break out on a train, the passenger who discovers the fire is asked to evacuate to a safe car and then contact a crew member using an intercom (emergency communicator) installed in the car.In principle, the train will proceed to the next station and allow passengers to evacuate from the train upon arrival. Each car is equipped with a fire extinguisher.
