Courtesy seats are available for the elderly, the disabled,expecting mothers, and persons accompanying an infant.

Women-Only Cars

During morning commuter rush hours, women-only cars are available on the Shinjuku Line. You may find 'Women-Only Car' labels on the windows of the cars, as well as on platform spots that correspond with the entrances to the cars. Persons other than women allowed in women-only cars include pre-schoolers, disabled male passengers, and their caretakers.
* The service is subject to suspension without notice when disorder is likely, due to an accident or delays.
